Vogue: The Editor’s Eye

I recently watched the HBO documentary “In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye” and was introduced to the distinct styles of American Vogue fashion editors, past and present.  Though previous Vogue documentary “The September Issue” captured the daily on-goings of Anna Wintour’s modern-day Vogue, “The Editor’s Eye” documents the evolution of Vogue editorials or “sittings” through the idiosyncratic vision of the fashion editors responsible for creating “life after fashion”.  It was enchanting to go behind the scenes of some of Vogue’s most iconic and notorious editorials, getting the inside scoop from the mastermind herself.  The accompanying coffee table book of the same name, provides detailed chapters on each editor and some of their most notable editorial work at Vogue.  I found the following editors to have the most intriguing personalities and most alluring sittings:
